has the pleasure to Invite you at the seminar about European Citizenship and Employment: “BE YOUNG IN EUROPE” that will be held in 22-23 January 2015, at EU INFO CENTRE Albania.
Brief description of the seminar:
In the occasion of the European enlargement and considering the new role that will be covered by Albania, as a candidate country for the European Union, the ‘Italian Association “Fyouture” with Youth Centre Borderless proposes a seminar open to all youth Albanian organizations, to reflect and discuss through/with youth about the central role of Albania in Europe. The aim of the seminar will be to talk about fundamental significance of citizenship, emphasizing the benefits of European Union.
The seminar will be the opportunity to compare the characteristics of the founder country of the European Union (Italy) and the candidate country (such as Albania) and to explore the opportunities offered by the European Union programs and to analyze the different types of aid that European Commission offers to young people in employment sector.
The program of the seminar “Be young in Europe”, will be shared in two days in total, a first introductory section, which will provide participants with key information, then a second part of workshop where the participants will be protagonists through working groups. It will also offer them the opportunity to make contacts for future projects, involving so even the Albanian organizations themselves. Detailed program will be shared soon.
Participants will work themselves, using their knowledge and their direct skills about the vision of citizenship, in order to “discover” and to take over the final concept of European citizenship and youth employment.
Young people, through the preparation of some ideas and project proposals, will have the opportunity to prepare their active participation utilizing the opportunities offered by European Commission, primarily through cooperation with other European countries already, particularly with Italy (as founder country of the Altiero Spinelli
and Alcide De Gasperi’s dream, then realized, along with other famous people).
